Glencorse House

As soon as Leanne talked us through her design concept for her wedding at Glencorse House we knew it was going to be something we had never be involved in before.. A Halloween styled wedding!  The details this wedding had were so creative.  Our favourites though include the black chest with a river of red petals running down the front, skulls filled with velvet red roses, lacy pumpkins lining the pathways and not to mention the leaf bat filled trees! It was so much fun! Thanks to The Studio Agency for letting us show you some of the detail shots. You can see some of our photos from the day over on our Facebook Page.

Glencorse House

Here is a really pretty spring time wedding that we featured on our blog back at the beginning of June. Our lovely bride Julia was so kind to send us a few of her professional shots! Thanks so much Julia!!

Her bouquet of all peonies was so soft and romantic.

The bridesmaid’s bouquets have to be one of our favourite bouquets of this year! We thought the yellow looked fantastic against the bridesmaids black dresses! Also completely adored the hair flower detail!

"I have just arrived home from honeymoon and wanted to send a thank you email as soon as. The flowers were incredible and were even better then my expectations. You created exactly the look and style I was aiming for from the bridesmaids hair flowers to the table decor - simply stunning. The amount of comments I received about the flowers was amazing and it was sad to see a wilted diamante bouquet on my return from honeymoon, it was hard to put the bouquet in the bin. Thank you for all your help with ideas, decisions and the set-up of the flowers was perfect."

Glencorse House

Yellow is not a colour that we often come across as a wedding colour theme, we’re not quite sure why, but we could probably count the number of yellow weddings we have done in the past 10 years on our fingers and toes! This year however, we have had 3 so far!! Each one being uniquely different and modern and we love it! This wedding at the beginning of June took place at Glencorse House and we had a little too much fun creating it!  When our bride asked for a full diamante bouquet handle we have to be honest we were a little dubious but the end result was stunning and it literally rocked!! The sparkly handle was such a fantastic idea against the soft fluffy peonies.  The bridesmaids held small, neat handtieds of yellow tulips - sadly the last tulips we will be using this season. These were then surrounded by one of our favourite yellow flowers Craspedia.  To keep the yellow and black theme we used black glass cubes with large yellow balls of flowers as the table flowers. It’s sometimes such a lovely treat to see a low table arrangement, it keeps things a little more informal and we think a low arrangement always works well in venue with a low ceiling like the marquee at Glencorse.

The summer issue of Real Life Wedding Magazine brought to you by the expert team at The Scottish Wedding Directory is out now and we are thrilled that Suzanne and Grant´s big day at Glencorse House has been featured.

Glencorse House

We were so excited when Kirsty from Milton Couture asked us to design a few wedding bouquets for a photo shoot at Glencorse House back in September. The dresses were so insanely gorgeous and girly it was important that we continued that in the bouquets we designed to keep that same ultra feminine look.

We wanted this bouquet to be light and soft so we kept to a vintage lilac colour palette. Using Sweet Peas, Lavender and hydrangeas, all from our very own cutting garden - perfect for the Eco-friendly bride!!

This had to be one of the most gorgeous wedding dresses we have ever seen! As it was so full with lots of detail we wanted to keep the bouquet simple yet chic. We used vivid dark pink Phaelenopsis orchids which looked effortlessly elegant against the amazing dress. All images were captured by Picture This Creative Photography.
