Holy Trinity Church, St Andrews followed by Rufflets Hotel

Nicola & Douglas tied the knot last July, with a Church service followed by a reception at Rufflets Hotel. They mixed things up at the venue by going for chic grey table cloths and silver chairs which totally transformed the room. Such strong coloured linens, encouraged us to stay light and bright with mainly ivory with just touches of the dark purple that we took from the bridesmaids dresses. We used our vase down lighters to enhance the Vanda orchid detail with in the vase to bring light to the table at night rather than using candles. Rufflets Hotel

Last week we received an email from Joanne (today's gorgeous bride!) letting us know that her wedding had been featured on one of our newest favourite blogs We Fell In Love. 

Throughout May and June we are pretty obsessed with peonies.. we can’t help it.. there is nothing we can do to stop it! Usually when you think of peonies the big soft frilly pinks ones come to mind but we really have a soft spot for white and ivory peonies. Especially in mixes such as Joanne and Jordan had in June at Rufflets Hotel. Using waxy orchids alongside peonie ruffles, or compact peonies with just little pips of Lilly of the valley peeking through..
