Dundas Castle

Real Life Weddings Magazine featured the lovely peaches and cream wedding of Lucy and Alan we designed the florals for at Dundas Castle last summer.  It was a lovely little surprise to see the couple in the magazine thanks to Rankine Photography for submitting this perfectly detailed filled day.

Mansfield Traquair

We were literally counting down the days until Abbey and Steve's wedding at Mansfield Traquair.  When Abbey and Winnie first came to visit us they had thoughts of topiary trees on tables but with a modern twist - after long chats about the idea and lots of brain storming we came up with keeping everything very spherical but using lots of glass and mirrored props and not actually using the trunk/stem of the tree so that we didn’t bring in the rustic element.  With the addition of gorgeous linens, stationery from Knotty and the stunning fairy light cascade from Tower Productions the room was complete!  So many great suppliers were involved in the day and we can’t wait to see pictures of the bride and bridemaids wearing their Freja dresses with our bouquets Mette even provided some excess material from their dresses for us to bind all the bouquets in to ensure the perfect match!

Mansfield Traquair

The Signet Library

We have stocked martini vases for quite some time now and they still are one of our clients favourites.  The main reason for this is something we completely understand.. sight lines.  Most clients who opt for the martini vase don’t  want to have any of their guests vision blocked by a stand or vase arrangement  so our martini vases are one of the best solutions for this problem.  

On Saturday we dressed The Signet Library with soft autumnal flowers in our martini vases.  The lush textures alongside the soft warm colours were to die for and complemented the architecture of the Upper Library beautifully.

 

 

Lennoxlove

In the last few weeks we have seen so many of our 2011 winter brides we are all feeling a little festive already. Especially when we spotted red ilex in our local wholesaler last week!  So to give a little winter inspiration to some of our brides we thought we would feature this Lennoxlove wedding from January past.

Dark red roses and regal purple anemones led the way through all the wedding with accents of viburnum berries and amaryllis to give some added texture.

Fairy lights add an instant visual element to a marquee no matter the time of year.
