Hopetoun House - Christmas Fair

Every year Hopetoun House asks us to decorate their dining table for their Christmas Fair.  It is one of the most fun things we do at Christmas and this year was no different, with gold glitter pumpkins, malus apple topiaries, moss runners and berried candles..

Dynamic Earth

We love these bright, bold bridal bouquets we provided in the spring for a Dynamic Earth wedding.  The bride held a mixed bouquet with the bridesmaids holding a mono-botanical bouquet - each one different to match a flower in the brides hand tied.

Hopetoun House

A few weeks ago we blogged about our last autumnal wedding at Hopetoun House. Alan Hutchison photography has kindly sent us a few of his shots of the day and we can't help but show you them - for no other reason but for a little personal indulgence and to reminisce about walking down the lime tree avenue through all the autumnal leaves.

Mansfield Traquair

There is nothing we like more than to be challenged with something a little different from the norm and gosh did this ever! When Heritage Portfolio and Kyles on Scotland came to us with a Tim Burton themed 21st birthday party at Mansfield Traquair we couldn’t wait to get our teeth into the imaginative style of Tim Burton!

Concentrating on just two of his movies Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory we designed larger than life mushrooms and toadstools in the entrance and then on the long dinner tables we made a moss runner; topped with huge lime green hydrangea topiaries with oversized sweeties. Tower Productions did the most magnificent job of lighting the venue finishing it off with the real atmosphere of the films.

This was an event we never wanted to end..
