Dundas Castle

We just had to show this great and fun idea of using stacked mince pies instead of a wedding cake! Such an amazing seasonal tradition that looked so stunning in Dundas Castle.

"Becky, Tom, Dale and I would like to thank you again for the wonderful foliage and candle decorations you designed for the church and Dundas. So many guests commented on how pretty and effective it all looked and so suitable for the venues and December. The bouquets and buttonholes were outstanding and the mince pies looked perfectly decorated!"

Dundas Castle

How gorgeous are these adorable mini Christmas trees?? Perfect for Christmas weddings and events!

Mansfield Traquair

Mansfield Traquair is a perfect venue for all events and special occasions - last week we designed the table décor for a Christmas party. The lighting was spectacular - blue and silver is such a great colour combination for the winter months giving an amazing glamorous look. We always enjoy decorating Mansfield Traquair, as there are no low ceilings, which allow us to create large designs. The venue looked truly magnificent..

Hopetoun House

There are so many beautiful and memorable weddings in 2008 that it is hard to decide which ones to share! Caroline and James were kind enough to send over a couple of their professional pictures from their wedding back in October along with a warm note of thanks.

"I'm sorry it's taken me so long to email you, but I just wanted to let you know how delighted we were with our flowers on our wedding day on 18 October. We both had an absolutely fantastic day and all our guests thought the flowers were absolutely amazing - so thank you so much for all your hard work ! Please could you also pass on your thanks to the team - they all did a wonderful job."

Abercorn Church

There could be nothing more beautiful and romantic than a candle lit wedding ceremony. The little quaint church of Abercorn was the perfect choice for a candle lit service this weekend. Once we had filled all the windows and ledges, covered the alter and font with candles and winter greenery, the candles were lit and it was nothing less than magical with the warmth of the candles and the smell of the pine.

Assembly Rooms

We had a fantastic note of thanks from Scottish Renewables last week. We provided their table décor for the seventh annual Scottish Green Energy Awards.

"On behalf of Scottish Renewables, please accept our sincere thanks to you and your team for an exceptional job done at the seventh annual Scottish Green Energy Awards. Feedback from our special guests enjoyed the table centres which gave an extra dimension to the venue. The special guest Jackie Bird thought the bouquet of flowers were exceptional - thank you very much. Please pass on my thanks to the team for their work on the night and made it a hassle free experience. Once again please accept our sincere thanks and I hope to see you in the near future."

Dundas Castle

This weekend brought us our very first truly winter wedding. Dundas Castle was the perfect setting for the wedding - The amaryllis with it's vivid red shade set the wintry scene matching in perfectly with the brides chosen linens, stationary and favours. One of our senior floral designers Linda could not wait to get her hands on the natural willow to create an amazing entrance into the Keep where the ceremony was held. To give that added sparkle we hung crystals and hanging tea lights to give as much drama as possible.
