Botanical Gardens

We recently had the supreme pleasure of styling an Autumn wedding at The Botanical Gardens. We had so much fun designing four different table installations for this wedding. From tall trees with hanging Autumnal goodies, to low arrangements full of Autumn flowers surrounded by glowing candles - each in keeping perfectly with the look of the venue. Please pop over to Elemental Weddings blog to see some totally amazing pictures of the day and of course our gorgeous bride and groom!

Hopetoun House

Autumn flowers and Hopetoun House fit together like peas in a pod!! The warm tones of the interior of the House and Stables go so well with autumnal shades – oranges, russets, golds, reds, brown, greens... the list is endless.

Mansfield Traquair

Clearly (and shamelessly) we have a thing for trees and autumn around here at Planet Flowers. Don’t you love the way these autumnal trees create such a pretty aisle? This bride rocked! She gave us free-hand to create her “autumn in Central Park” style – we even filled glass containers with orange wax and malus apples to continue the theme onto the entrance desks and alter areas.

Prestonfield House Hotel

The Stuart Room at Prestonfield House Hotel is so dramatic we knew we had to create something bold and confident for this ruby anniversary dinner. Prestonfield kindly permitted us to use the crowns that usually sit around the room on the dining table – we designed little Gloriosa and rosehip cushions for them to sit on between the large red rose balls.

Blair Estate

We are so happy to see Laura and Tim’s wedding at Blair Estate has been featured in The Scottish Wedding Directory’sReal Life Weddings magazine. Sheila from 88 Events was the immaculately detailed coordinator who brought the whole wedding together. You can read all about the production of the day from The Event Design experts at 88 events here or pick up a copy of Real Life Weddings magazine to read all about the perfect day from the bride and groom.

Keeping the ceremony flowers simple and elegant was important to Laura – huge urns were filled with white Phalaenopsis plants and we placed crystal goblets filled with white spring flowers around the room to soften areas.

We just loved the over size feather crystal chandeliers we created for the guest tables which added such drama to the marquee. They have to be one of our favourite table pieces of the year so far!
