Edinburgh Castle

Last week we had the pleasure of providing the table designs for a Scottish themed event at the historical Edinburgh Castle in the Queen Anne Room. We opted to keep the flowers to single varieties to give a contemporary feel with out losing the traditional Scottish theme.

Hopetoun House

We have spent quite some time pouring over these images that Blue Sky Photography sent us of the lovely Clare and Rob's amazing day at Hopetoun House. We really do feel ever so lucky when a couple pick an amazing photographer to capture their day!

We can do nothing but sing the praise's of Little Ego's wedding Stationary! Every style is wildly different which we love - the white Phaelenopsis orchid bespoke design featured through out all the paper goods matched perfectly with all our centerpieces.

Clare's bouquet was made up of white Phaelenopsis orchids, lily of the valley, white Peonies and lily of the valley leaves serving as the collar. Along with the biggest box of chocolate we have ever seen!! We received the loveliest email for Clare and Rob.

"Just wanted to say a big thank you to you both and all the team at Planet Flowers for our wonderful wedding flowers!! You did an amazing job of creating beautiful displays for the day...from the corsages to the ballroom fireplace. I absolutely loved my bouquet and it was lovely to have the calming scent of lily of the valley in there too. It is the first time I have worn flowers in my hair, and I feel they really did add to the overall look and made me feel bridal without wearing a veil. We had no idea what type of flowers we wanted at the outset, and you did a wonderful job of coaxing the ideas out of us! The flowers really set off the venue, tied in with the theme and looked fantastic. Also, thank you so much for delivering the remaining flowers to the hospice. I received a lovely letter from them thanking us for donating them, so they brightened more than just our day and were really appreciated.."

A big thank you to Blue Sky Photography for sharing these images and for capturing those extra detail shots of the day!

St John Cantius and St Nicholas followed by Dundas Castle

The ceremony took place in St John Cantius and St Nicholas, a large, beautiful church just outside Broxburn. Our challenge was to come up with flower designs to match the size of the church.   There aren't enough words to describe how much we loved Danielle and everything about her wedding. She had amazing style, meaning the end result at Dundas Castle had such a timeless - classical look - the flowers fitting perfectly in their surroundings.

Hopetoun House

We adore this classic summer look in Hopetoun's Ballroom. Rankine Photography captured this wedding a few summers ago but we couldn’t leave it in our archives and not show you it in all its prettiness!
