The George Hotel

We just can’t quite get over the beauty and softness of this wedding bouquet that Sarah Elizabeth Photography captured - the pips of lavender just showing through really enhance the texture.. love love LOVE!

This has to be one of our favourite parts of The George Hotel we have had so much fun over the years decorating this little area of the drinks reception space.

Dundas Castle

Gorgeous winter whites were the order of the day for Carolyn and Toby's wedding at Dundas Castle captured here by Blue Sky Photography. We really love all the warm white fairy lights twinkling away behind the flowers in the marquee.

Dundas Castle

Last month we mentioned our obsession with photos of clients getting up to mischief with our flowers, we love seeing our creation being part of the joy of the day.  These two images from Qian & Qing's wedding at Dundas Castle made us smile from ear to ear.  Elemental Photography have captured the good humour and fun that all ages can have with a little flower pomander!  Please pop over to our online galleries to see the full floral highlights of the whole wedding we have never seen the Stag Chamber look so elegant.

Hopetoun House

When we opened up these wedding photographs from Blue Sky Photography we had completely forgotten how much modern floral goodness had been at this wedding. Now that we have had time to look back over last summers weddings, the range of styles and colours were phenomenal and there really is no stand out colour or look that we could say was a definite trend for the year. However Julie and Ben's wedding definitely stands out from the crowd. The clean modern sleekness and strong colour palette set it apart from so much of what we are seeing trending in the magazines at the moment.

Wedderburn Castle

It’s so cold today!  All day we have been dreaming of the spring arriving and getting back into the cutting gardens, getting the sun on our backs.  So we thought what better day to show you some bridal flowers we designed for a Wedderburn Castle wedding last year.  It must have been the hottest day of the year – it was so gorgeous and warm that some of the team even got sunburnt while creating the outdoor ceremony!

Hopetoun House

Gosh it feels like a very long time since we last posted. The team are feeling refreshed and ready for 2012! In the last week or so we have met so many new couples getting married this year, excited to see the array of venues that we are already booked for and being part of many special weddings and events this year.

Looking back at last year we can’t quite believe how many diverse events we were involved in and the amazing places we were featured! From elegant weddings to fun 21st birthday parties, to being featured on Rock MyWedding, Love My Dress, The Ebury Collection and to top it off Style Me Pretty (yep.. Style Me Pretty!! OMG!) Although, really last years icing on the cake has to be one of two things.. our first VOWS award nomination and being voted one the top 50 UK florists in the Independent 2011 was an almighty year..

So what’s our first blog post of 2012 about? It’s about this enchanting wedding that First Light Photography captured that we have popped up on our online gallery if for no other reason to look at this Hopetoun wedding day but to see the most adorable little sweet flower girls! Thanks Ditte for letting us see the day through your eyes.
