Dundas Castle

This lovely luxurious wedding organized by Litu took place at Dundas Castle. The weather on the weekend of this wedding was nothing short of awful with rain, sleet, hail and snow all contributing to the day, but because of these chilly temperatures outside it made the castle all the more lovely and cosy inside - we didn’t want to leave!!

Small Weddings

We are often asked if we can do smaller more intimate weddings, providing only the bouquets and buttonholes. This is something we are more than happy to do, please just get in touch via our contact us page.  This simple and perfect little wedding at Edinburgh City Hall is a lovely example. We love these pictures the bride sent in of her family on this happiest of days.

Inveraray Castle

Check out this Spring wedding bouquet featured on Little Miss Wedding! You can visit the feature here.

Continuing the Spring theme at Inveraray Castle. We used hyacinths throughout the reception marquee, alternating between white and pale blue hyacinths keeping it simple by using a mass of all the same variety for each table. We then finished the table decor by using grape hyacinths placed neatly on each napkin.

All marquee photography by Ronnie Cairns.

The George Hotel

We loved how these amazingly extravagant feather displays extenuated the room´s impressive lighting feature in The Kings Hall at The George Hotel last week.

The Museum of Scotland

What better way to cheer us up on a cold, miserable day than a modern table design on the boardroom table in the Museum of Scotland for a champagne reception?! Nothing says Spring is on the way more than all these yellow lovelies!

Hopetoun House

We were extremely happy to be featured on wedding style website Chic City Bride this month. The chosen wedding took place at Hopetoun House. Here are a couple of shots by Rankine Photography to whet your appetite, but please visit Chic City Bride for more details of this modern styled wedding.

The Signet Library

When we received a parcel from Elemental Wedding Photography this week we knew we had a major treat in store for us! They kindly sent us shots from The Signet Library wedding we featured on our blog last December. We cannot thank Christina and Jay from Elemental enough for their generosity in letting us use their photos and hope that the images inspire this years brides plan their winter weddings!

This last image is really just for us! We love the way the light hit's the bouquet, the way Matt is standing with his hands in his pockets and Judi's radiant smile.... L O V E.

All images were photographed by Jay and Christina Golian of Elemental Wedding Photography – big thanks guys!

Dundas Castle

We find it very sad when we meet one of our lovely brides who have their heart set on a flower which is out of season on her wedding day! Our bride last Saturday who was married at Dundas Castle LOVED Peony roses but unfortunately we are unable to get them so early in the year so instead we used Ranunculus which has the same look and feel as Peony roses but almost in miniature!

We were able to use the Ranunculus along with thistle to decorate her M & S cake, using pine cones alongside the flowers to give an almost winter woodland feel.
