Saint Michaels Parish Church followed by Dundas Castle

Siobhan and John's wedding took place on the most perfect autumnal day where the air was crisp but there was the most beautiful sunshine throughout the day. While planning the wedding flowers with Siobhan and her family, we knew we wanted to create a classic look at Dundas Castle but with some small touches of autumn throughout the flowers. Using snow-berries, frosted leaves and small white pumpkins we added an autumnal feel but without using typical oranges and browns. The warmth from the day shines through Crofts & Kowalczyk photography’s images..

Guthrie Castle

We travelled all the way up to Guthrie Castle at the end of March to join Rankine Photography for Catriona and Iain’s spring wedding. The snow had just disappeared in Edinburgh, but there it was still reasonably thick and with a very frosty chill in the air! Although Catriona wanted to keep the flowers seasonal and spring she also introduced height in room with vases of white willow. So the snow did not look out of place outside with what could be thought as a wintry design.. 

  

  

  

  

Hopetoun House

Finally we are blogging Siobhan and Alexs' day at Hopetoun House from March. We have no rhythm or rhyme to our blogging (as you may have guessed!) We just know when we have to share something! Siobhan and Alexs' day in three words.. timeless. spring. elegance.

   

Prestonfield House

Loved Eileen's bouquet so much with the little pips of Ornithogalum through soft green hydrangea and ivory Dendrobium orchids - perfect textural mix.
